What is Bootcamp?

Bootcamp is an intense fitness program designed to accommodate all fitness levels.  In Bootcamp, you can expect to get the type of training (workout) that will increase your cardio conditioning, build muscular endurance and strength and increase flexibility. The Program is designed (tailored) to each individual student’s needs.

If a regular fitness class schedule doesn’t work for you, Bootcamp is a great alternative as it is offered really early (5:30 a.m. – 6:30 a.m.) and really late (8:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.) on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Then both sessions meet on Saturday mornings at 7:00 a.m. There is also a late morning Bootcamp class held from 8:30 – 9:30am Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.

Boot camp is the best way to wake up in the morning and the way to a healthy, confident and strong body! Yes, it definitely is. I never thought that at 52 years old I would be on a treadmill, carrying 20 pounds, walking up a hill at 4mph and then jogging with that weight! Or that doing 100 lunges would ever be considered a good time. Who knew that I could learn how to punch and kick a heavy bag or have the endurance to run 3 miles in under 30 minutes? I would have laughed if you asked me to do 20 push-ups, when I started I could barely do 5. Don’t be intimidated by boot camp. It is just what you need to get on the path of better health. I have been attending boot camp for 3 years. Each session has challenged me and enabled me to grow closer to my fitness goals. With boot camp, I was able to get to my goal weight, after having two kids and encourage my family to begin to work out as well. They began to see the great results that I achieved and they wanted to do the same. Bootcamp has given me a love for fitness and the drive to take my fitness to another level. I have begun running which is something I never thought I would be able to do.
