Cardio Benefits of Boxing
The major cardiovascular benefits of boxing is increased stamina, endurance and speed. Are there other workouts that can get you the same quality cardio workout? Sure. The great benefit of boxing is that for many of us, the treadmill or the stair climber either bores us to tears generally or, alternatively, because it is the only cardio workout we have had for years, your body has become less responsive to the workout. What we are hearing from our members at Club One is that boxing for fitness is fun, social and stress relieving which makes it a great anaerobic and aerobic exercise.
The other great benefit of boxing is that it is a total body strength workout. The bike, the treadmill, and most forms of exercise work a portion of your body. Boxing is a total boxing workout. Boxing requires the constant use of arms, legs, hips, and abs.
